Day 1 which seemed to open well on time was called off early due to rain. Many matches which were scheduled for Day 1 were suspended. Some of the ongoing matches had to be called off. This made the officials of Roland Garros to reschedule the whole Day 2 Order of Play. Many unfinished matches of Day 1 need to be completed today on Day 2. But yet its raining in Paris. Start has been delayed till 1:00 PM local time.

Day 2 which will feature Andy Murray and many more stars will have to hold back in locker rooms. Fans anticipating the live action need to wait for more time. According to latest updates, orange covers are all over the playing area. So no play till rain stops.

Day 2 rescheduled order of play includes Lukas Rosol vs Stan Wawrinka, Andy Murray (2) vs Radek Stepanek. Richard Gasquet, Gilles Simon, Milos Raonic and Grigor Dimitrov are others who will be in action on Day 2.

From ladies section, World No. 4 Spanish Garbine Muguruza will face Anna Karolina Schmiedlova. Former champion Ana Ivanovic will step on court on day 2. Simona Halep will also start her campaign on Monday.

So its all on weather conditions which will determine how many matches can be played on Day 2.
