Singh has also made her position in the Federation Cup National Athletics Championships in New Delhi held in May 2016. In that athletic race, she broke the record of her training-mate Lalita Babar. Win in this competition hiked her level confidence to play more such races.

Sudha Singh on May 14, 2016 shattered the national record in women’s 3000m steeplechase event to finish eighth in the second leg of the prestigious Diamond League Meet in Shanghai. These performances boosted the chances of her selection for Rio Olympics which is about to start from 11th June.

All Indians are now eager to watch her performance in the world’s largest contention. This is a very strong slap on the faces of all those bloody fools who think that having daughter is a bad luck and practice brutal mutilation of her in mother’s womb only. People with such mentality should take lesson from this great achievement by Sudha.
