Rio Olympics 2016 Prize Money & Medal Value: The Summer Olympics which is also known as the RIO Olympics will started on 05th August 2016 in Rio de Janerio, Brazil. The management board announced the prize and the different media published the value of the medal what is the winning players award.
The RIO Olympics board made a decision, that they will not pay any cash amount to any player. But the the participating players are awarded cash by their country. Every participating country has already declared a gorgeous cash prize for their winning players.

Value of Medals:
- Gold: 600 (USD), (1% actual gold , 92.5 % silver and 6.16% copper, used to made it).
- Silver: 325 (USD), (92.5% silver and 7.16% copper, used to made it).
- Bronze: 3 (USD) (97% copper, 2.5% zinc and 0.5% tin use to made it).
In total, the Brazilian Mint used almost 172 ounces of gold to create 812 gold medals; at the same time, more than 1.6 tonnes of silver was used in the gold medals and the 812 silver medals made. That amounts to over $228,000 worth of gold and over $1 million worth of silver at current prices.
