After the ninth season of Indian Premier League 2016, Indian Cricket team all set to begin their tour of Zimbabwe which has been scheduled to be starting from 11th June 2016. In that tour Indian team will play three T20 matches and also three One Day Internationals (ODI) against, Zimbabwe. For this tour India’s most brilliant skipper MS Dhoni will lead the Indian outfit which has been boasted with largely young talented and inexperienced squad. So, on the rundown of this upcoming tour, the Board of Control for India have announced the staff appointments for this series.
So, as per the announcement, of BCCI officials, the former India and Railways all rounder player Sanjay Bangar has been appointed as a national teams head coach for next month’s limited over’s tour of Zimbabwe which was confirmed by national selectors on Thursday. Sanjay Bangar had previously worked with the Indian Cricket team as their batting coach when former India skipper Ravi Shastri was worked as being the director before their contracts ended with the World Twenty20 championship in the month of March-April.
In the two years of his stint as the batting coach of national team, Sanjay Bangar had ,made some inroads with some of the top Indian batsmen like Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma, and also witnessed some famous victorious that came the team’s way. Also apart from the national side, he has been associated with Kings XI Punjab franchise in IPL as their head coach. Also along with Bangar former Indian cricketer Koka Ramesh will tour with men in blue as their administrative manager, while ex domestic cricketer Abhay Sharma has been named as a fielding coach. But there will be no bowling coach travelling with Indian team.
