Ravi Shastri submits his CV for the post of India’s Head Coach- The former Director of team India Ravi Shastri on this Monday applied for the post of chief coach’s of the Indian cricket team, taking a strong claims of returning at the helm. Ravi Shastri has submitted his application for the post. The former India captain had worked with the team as director for around 18 months. His contract ended at the conclusion of ICC World T20 2016. Shastri had already only said in an interview that he was only considered for 18 months with the Indian team as this was most memorable experience for him in three-decade long association with the Indian cricket in various capacities.
Ravi Shastri has prepared any presentation , the veteran of 80 Test matches. Whatever is required by the BCCI, He have provided them. If you ask him whether he is confident or not, all he can say is that my job was to apply for the post and I have done that. He cannot comment on anything else , Shastri added.
During Shastri’s tenure as the Team Director, the most notable achievements have been a 3-0 in T20 defeted against Australia, The ODI series won in England, away from the Test series won against Sri Lanka after 22 years, Test series win against South Africa at the home, apart from the semi-final finished in the 50-over and T20 World Cups. Shastri is the most popular name that has so far applied for the coveted post apart from current chairman of selectors and another former Sandeep Patil (coach) , who has also thrown his hat in the ring.
