Ravi Shastri resigns from Kumble Headed ICC committee – Former Indian cricketer Ravi Shastri has resigned from Kumble headed ICC committee. Recent controversial spat with Saurabh Ganguly has hurt the ego of the legendary cricketer and hence he might have opted to leave the committee.
Anil Kumble recently got appointed as head coach of Indian cricket team. Ravi Shastri happened to be the previous trainer and mentor of men in blue. Interviews with the applicants assessed the calibers of candidates doing presentations of their work.
But, in the interview with Ravi Shastri, Saurabh Ganguly was absent and wasn’t able to interview the former veteran. Ravi picked up this point and blamed the former left hand batsman that it was a well planned strategy to eliminate his name from the race for head coach.
Saurabh, who didn’t intend to so with wrong will, reacted aggressively to the remarks of Shastri and defamed him by saying that the Indian anchor who interacts with cricketers fabulously at presentation area is making senseless blames on him.
Shastri then criticized the absence of another veteran at the time of his interview and created controversy over this issue. Now, recently he has submitted his resignation letter to BCCI and has said ‘good bye’ to the ICC committee which is again headed by newly selected coach.
