Ravi Shastri and Patil leading the race to become head coach of Team India- Former Indian cricketers Ravi Shastri and Sandeep Patil are leading in the race for the post of head coach. After filtering 57 applications 21 were left with the advice of Advisory Committee which included Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman. These legends had a confabulation over their assigned duty of advising BCCI about this issue.
Expunges in the list of people who had applied for this position have reduced the names from 21 to 2 and the veterans of this field are in race. Now, it’s up to Board of Cricket Control in India whom should they appoint as an Indian coach. Ravi Shastri is currently holding the same position who has once again willed to continue with the same post, but has to face the another legend Sandeep Patil in contention.
Name of Anil Kumble too came into light when he jumped into this race for the head coach of Indian cricket team.
