Anil Kumble, veteran Indian cricketer has planned to implement ‘Buddy Program’ for training the young Indian cricketers. He has decided to go with this new strategy for making the ICC WC 2011 champions team ready for the further confrontations scheduled by Board of Cricket Control in India.

Soon, after the former spinner appointed as head coach of Indian cricket team, Kumble took the charges immediately and commenced strategizing some brilliant collusions for the successful itinerary of young men in blue in their future struggle.

There’s nothing suspicious in this ‘Buddy Program’ to be initiated by newly appointed head coach. In this program, juniors will be attached with a senior who will guide, judge their problems and rectify by them in his own style. There’ll be no role of coach in this dealing.

Head coach will only designate the senior most player to some juniors’ group which will follow the instructions given by their leader and try to bring it into action by obediently following it. Stuart Binny told that this was none other the program initiated by Wright who happened to be the mentor.

Many young cricketers who are currently securing positions in Indian cricket team are opining that this is a very effective and efficient program which will surely come out with positive results if the youngsters in the team follow the path showed by mentor in right direction.

Kumble, few days ago opined that Indian bowling, which prospered in Zimbabwe tour and helped the country to seize victories in five matches out of six, needs to be more focused. According to him, bowling aggression can be harnessed more with the proper guidance and immense practice.
