‘I am at my best in Test cricket’ says Ishant Sharma – Indian pacer Ishant Sharma says that he is at his best in test cricket. He opines that he can bowl well in the slowest format of cricket. Man with incredibly bowled spells in some of the important matches in all formats expressed his feelings to the media by claiming that he is still good in test cricket.
He said that most of the times, others think spinners are more effective than the pacers on difficult pitches. Recently betrothed young Indian cricketer rubbed all these beliefs by saying that pacers do well when it comes to the form and type of a field. It doesn’t depend upon the type of bowling, just smartness is required to ensnare the bowler and tangle the batsman.
According to him, most of the times fast bowlers are blamed for the failure in defending the batsmen from scoring runs or just thwarting their aggression. He told that people generally praise the spinners for their spells and don’t prioritize the fast swingers for the efforts taken by them. This is not fair in his case and hence he cleared his thoughts and firmly said that he is good at his place for the test cricket.
In recent few games, he was not able to perform well in the one day international and T20 games, so he had to face immense critics for the poor performance by him. He has assured that he’ll not give a single chance to the mobs to doubt his credibility and he will exhibit what pacers can do through his performance in the test cricket matches to played against West Indies in coming next days.
