Colin Munro’s stunning knock gears TKR to victory – In the 17th match of ongoing Caribbean Premier League 2016, Trinbago Knight Riders defeated Barbados Tridents by three wickets and surpassed the target of 172 runs with 14 balls remaining. Amla, Perkins and Bravo too played vital two digit innings and assisted their mate in cementing their team score.

TKR won the toss and elected to field first. The men came to bat on the ground seemed quite confident and dedicated.Fabulous opening partnership gave a good kick off to their inning. Top order, which included Shoeb Malik, AB Devilliers, SR Taylor and Keiron Pollard, cemented the team score with their fabulous individual scores and took it to the defiance of 172 runs for the foes.

Benn and Bravo rendered pivotal roles in destroying the top order batsmen but failed to restrict their aggression. Though they succeeded in taking wickets in the initial inning, but didn’t manage to hinder the run rate with which the opponents were firmly itinerating towards building monstrous challenge for them.

Chasing the instigation, Hashim Amla and WKD Perkins commenced the second inning with silent two digit partnership which was later terminated by Parnell. Man to bat next was Collin Munro who opened an attack over the all ballers and by hitting six massive sixes and two fours, he stormily score 68 runs in just 39 balls.

Munro storm came to an end when South African skipper caught him out. Ramdin – Bravo pair did the remaining job of giving a finishing touch to their inning with mesmerizing triumph. Within just 17.4 overs, the match results were curbed by Trinbago Knight Riders and Munro, for his timely hit shots, got rewarded with ‘Man of the Match’ award.
