BCCI ushers in big home season: 13 Tests, six new venues
BCCI announce upcoming India series against AUS, NZ- BCCI, on Thursday aired the names of new places where team India will meet the guests in test cricket. Here are the names of those freshly introduced venues in India – Rajkot, Visakhapatnam, Pune, Dharamsala, Ranchi and Indore. These places will first time welcome the test cricket matches.
BCCI’s Tour Program and Fixture Committee had mutual interaction in Mumbai and made the announcement public about these fresh places. In coming time, men in blue will confront with foreign cricketers on these home grounds.
Three test cricket matches against New Zealand and five test cricket fights opposite England are to be played by Indian cricket team in this year. Indore, Kanpur and Kolkata are the venues India will take test cricket war opposite to NZ. Matches against England are to be played at Mohali, Rajkot, Chennai, Mumbai and Visakhapatnam.
In next year, Australian team will arrive in India and play series of four matches at Bangalore, Pune, Ranchi and Dharamsala. Bangladesh cricket team, slated to land next to Aussies will indulge into only single confrontation at capital city of Telangana.
The board hasn’t made any declaration about the format of the game. They’ll first analyze the experience of players who played pink ball cricket and then only will officially annunciate about the day – night test cricket schedule. BCCI knows that cricketers of South Africa had complained about the visibility problems while playing pink ball test cricket.
